New #photokina offer: Art for sale

photokina 2014 – 16 to 21 September 2014

It was the wish of many visitors, now it is going to be realised at the photokina 2014. High-quality photo art can be purchased at the coming photokina from 16 to 21 September 2014. A new offer of the world's most important photography and imaging trade fair makes it possible: the photokina sales gallery. Located at the North Boulevard of the fair, interested visitors will for the first time be able to experience high-quality photo art and purchase the photographs directly on-site. The photokina is thus once again dedicating more space to the artistic side of photography.

In order to guarantee a constant level of high quality of the pieces of art on sale, exclusively galleries and photographers registered in the commercial trade register are eligible for participation. They are exclusively able to apply for a place in the photokina sales gallery. After viewing all of the items submitted for sale at the photokina 2014, a jury will decide which photos will be included or not. The jury comprises of representatives from the Photo Industry Association, the photokina and the Art Cologne.
