LayersXXL Enhances Photoshop Elements with 180 Photo & Design Features

The Plugin Site (www.ThePluginSite.com) is pleased to announce LayersXXL, which adds up to 180 powerful features to Photoshop Elements for Windows that were previously only available in Photoshop. These features are available as new menu items (in light green color), icons and dialogs, so they seamlessly integrate into the user interface of Photoshop Elements. LayersXXL upgrades Photoshop Elements with features of Photoshop and bridges the gap between Photoshop Elements and Photoshop. LayersXXL works with version 6 to 13 of Photoshop Elements for Windows.

Overview

LayersXXL offers tools for performing the following tasks with the help of multiple image files: Denoising high ISO shots, Depth of Field Increase, HDR creation, combining Light Trail photos, preparing a manual composition, multiple exposure effects and panorama stitching. There are even seven action-like task items for doing these things in an automated fashion. LayersXXL also includes a Layer Comp panel for creating and managing layer compositions as in Photoshop. Even more, there is a new Style Settings dialog similar to Photoshop's Layer Styles dialog with 5 new layer effects, 15 new blending controls and 90 layer effect options.

Feature
Details

LayersXXL lets you open multiple files as layers and save each layer as a separate file again. When opening only one file, exposure variations of the same photo are automatically created for HDR production.

LayersXXL offers five tools for working with multiple layers. The Auto-Align feature aligns and repositions stacked as well as panorama layers. The Auto-Blend tool increases the depth of field and also stitches panoramas together. The Auto-Exposetool denoises layers, creates multiple exposure effects, combines light trails or night shots and applies other blending effects. The HDR-Combine feature automatically increases the dynamic range with the help of up to three layers. It offers eight sliders for improving the HDR look. Finally, the Crop Transparency tool removes the transparent areas of stacked layers and panoramas, which avoids the necessity of multiple manual cropping steps.

The Layer Comp panel lets you organize and quickly compare different designs or effect variations within one document. You can even automatically save each layer composition a separate file.

The new Style Settings dialog provides Blend If controls for sophisticated masking results. It also includes five new layer effects (Inner Shadow, Satin, Color Overlay, Gradient Overlay and Pattern Overlay) and adds 90 new options to all ten layer effects. LayersXXL allows using contours, patterns and gradients for refining the look of the layer effects. Gradients can even be edited and created with the built-in gradient editor. Additionally you are now able to load, edit and save .asl style files.

What Makes LayersXXL So Special

LayersXXL fully integrates into the user interface of Photoshop Elements, so it feels like an upgrade to Photoshop Elementsand not like a plugin. Other products that extend Photoshop Elements consist of simple actions or are limited to a dialog that blocks the user interface. So they are far less efficient, easy to use and flexible than LayersXXL. There is no other product that adds Open/Save Layers commands, Auto-Expose and HDR-Combine features as well as all Photoshop layer styles options to Photoshop Elements.

Availability & System Requirements

LayersXXL requires Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 to 13 for Windows. A version for MacOS X is planned. LayersXXL supports all localized versions of Photoshop Elements, but a few messages of LayersXXL are only in English and German language. LayersXXL costs USD 39.95 (Academic/educational license: USD 24.95). A 14-day-trial version can be downloaded at http://thepluginsite.com/products/layersxxl/
