Epson Supports Philippine Earthquake Relief Efforts

MANILA, Philippines, October 22, 2013 On October 15, a severe earthquake struck the island of Bohol and surrounding areas in central Philippines.

Epson wishes to extend its sympathy to the families of those who lost their lives, and hopes for the speedy recovery of the areas damaged by the disaster.

Epson Precision (Philippines) Inc., Epson Philippines Corporation and Seiko Epson Corporation have announced the donation today of Php 1 million (approx. US$23,100) to assist the disaster relief efforts. The money was donated through Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), a local NPO.

In addition to the donation, local Epson employees plan to cooperate with PBSP in the distribution of relief goods to the affected areas.
