Unified Color Unveils Panoramic Feature for HDR ExposeTM 3 at PhotoPlus Expo 2013

Master photographer, John Warner, to demonstrate how he uses HDR techniques to maximize profit in his commercial architectural work.

October 23, 2013 Unified Color Technologies, the experts in high dynamic range imaging (HDR), announced it will demonstrate the beta release of the new Pano Prep Batch Processing Feature, which is being added to HDR Expose 3, at this year’s PhotoPlus Expo. Throughout the PhotoPlus Expo 2013 (October 24-26th, at the Javits Center in New York, NY), attendees can visit Unified Color and its show partner, Promote Systems, in booth #564 to learn more about the new panorama tool and how it can be used to maximize the potential for the most true-to-life panoramic HDR images. This new feature will be available to HDR Expose 3 owners for free via the upcoming software update to version 3.1.

HDR panoramas are built from multiple frames of HDR photos that are stitched together in dedicated panoramic software or tools like Photoshop ® or Kolor’s Autopano Giga to create a wide view panorama that offers the true-to-life possibilities that only HDR can offer. In the past, constructing an HDR panorama required each bracketed set of exposures to be merged individually, which could result in varying tone mapping results across the scene. The new Pano Prep Batch Processing Feature analyzes all the exposure brackets of the individual frames to be stitched and applies uniform tone mapping parameters across each frame to produce smooth tonal transitions for natural HDR panorama results. Also included in this new feature is a 360 degree blend capability which ensures smooth, seamless blending of 360 degree panoramas where the left and right sides of the panoramic image meet.

In-Booth Demonstrations & Daily Prize Drawings

Throughout PhotoPlus Expo 2013, master architectural and real estate photographer, John Warner will be on hand to demonstrate how he uses HDR Expose 3 to maximize and streamline his commercial architectural work. In a program entitled, “Leave the Lights at Home,” Warner will share the secrets of how he uses the latest HDR capabilities, and real-life results made possible by Unified Color’s HDR technology, to more cost effectively tackle commercial architectural projects.

Warner will present the program through the expo in booth #564 on:

Thursday October 24, 2013: 12:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.

Friday October 25, 2013: 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.

In addition to the 10 percent special show discounts on the Promote Control and Unified Color software, the exhibition partners will be holding prize drawings for one Promote Control and a copy of HDR Expose 3 each day. Attendees can visit the booth to enter.
