Sigma Corporation of America announces website redesign to support new Global Vision

Website design adds product finder, comparison tool, extensive galleries, updated Sigma Lounge

Ronkonkoma, New York —Feb. 7, 2013— Sigma Corporation of America a leading researcher, developer, manufacturer and service provider of some of the world’s most impressive lines oflenses, cameras and flashes, today introduces a website redesign based on the recently-announced Global Vision to provide the brand with a new look, feel and voice.

The Sigma Global Vision is a restructuring of product categories and designs with a goal of enabling photographers to update and adjust their lenses to suit their personal preferences. The new lenses, divided into Contemporary, Art and Sports lines, represent clearly-defined manufacturing concepts to help guide photographers’ product selection. This evolution of lenses under the new Global Vision comes with a strict degree of quality control and optimized optics to ensure superb end results.

Sigma’s new direction has been translated into a state-of-the-art website reflecting the company’s new vision and brand voice. Led by Blue Collar Interactive, the new site offers a user-friendly experience, focusing on education and showcasing end result images. New features include tools such as a product finder and comparison tool, several redesigned photo galleries and an expanded Sigma Lounge section. The design aesthetic is clean and modern, with special attention given to optimized mobile browsing. Every image on the site was created using Sigma equipment.

The new site offers enhancements including:

· All-new product finder: Search tool optimized for a more robust and tailored process for filtering out products based on individual preferences and needs.

· Redesigned photo galleries: Four highly interactive galleries where photographers can submit, share, peruse, examine, enlarge or simply enjoy. Browse through over 2,032 featured images that have been captured with Sigma equipment.

· Comparison tool: From any product wall, users can select and compare up to five products and get a side-by-side comparison of all specs to help identify the right product selection for their needs.

· Expanded Sigma Lounge: A new section in the Sigma Lounge area has been added called “Learn from the Pros” where Sigma Pros provide users with advice on various photography topics such as technique, tools, style and business tips.
