Polaroid Introduces Polaroid Go, the Smallest Analog Instant Camera in the World
April 20. 2021 – Today, Polaroid unveils the newest & tiniest member to join their family– the Polaroid Go camera. At just 4.1 inch long, 3.3 inch wide, and 2.4 inch tall, the Polaroid Go is the smallest analog instant camera in the world. This innovation marks Polaroid’s greatest and most exciting launch in decades as the brand continues to advance through the creative culture of today.
Designed as a wearable creative companion, the pocket-sized Go camera leans on Polaroid’s iconic heritage of design while simultaneously creating a new format of instant cameras for a new generation. Features include a newly developed selfie mirror, self-timer, long-lasting battery, dynamic flash, double exposure, and travel-friendly accessories – making it easier for anyone to capture memories wherever creativity takes them. Accompanying the launch of Polaroid Go camera is the Go film, reimagining Polaroid’s classic square format in the smallest analog film the brand has ever produced.
To celebrate the innovation of Polaroid Go, the brand has partnered with a group of creators across the world who are pushing the boundaries of how culture defines art to “Go create.” Capturing their creative process through the lens of the Polaroid Go, collaborators will highlight their unique stories and mediums as part of the creator-led campaign. Initial partners include creative director and designer Quinn Whitney Wilson, who’s shaping contemporary culture through her work with Lizzo, and London-based musician Arlo Parks, frequently dubbed as Gen Z’s poet for her influential sound and lyricism.
Polaroid Go is available for pre-sale today and for purchase on April 27 at polaroid.com/go.
